Summary: Christmas is coming. Today I’m going to show you how to make a mini 3D Christmas tree, which could either be a lovely decoration on your dinner table or a great Christmas gift for your friend.
This adorable Christmas tree is wrapped with seed beads, pearl beads, and of course brass wire. It will take time to make it, but it absolutely deserves your time. Now let’s see the details.
How to make the 3D Christmas tree:
Step 1: Make the top layer.
1st, cut 50cm copper wire and slide four seed beads and one pearl bead on it, then thread the wire back through the seed beads and secure the beads by twining the wire ends.
2nd, slide three seed beads and one pearl onto the wire end and repeat the previous step to make another branch.
3rd, continue making the three-seed-bead branches until you get five in total. Once finished, twine all the branches together. The four-seed-bead branch is the tree top and the three-seed-bead branches are the top layer.
Step 2: Make the middle layer.
Make 7-8 seed bead branches and twine them together. Make sure each branch contains 4-6 seed beads and 1 pearl bead. The procedure is the same with step 1.
Step 3: Make the bottom layer.
Make about 10 branches each with 10 seed beads and 1 pearl bead. Once finished, twist them together.
Step 4: Connect the layers together.
Connect the middle layers to the top layer with a 1.5cm interval. And do the same to add the bottom layers. Once finished, twist all the wires together.
Step 5: Finish the tree trunk.
Leave about 3cm wires for the trunk, bend the rest wires up and twine them around the trunk.
Done! The finished mini Christmas tree should be like this:
It looks really cute right? And the procedures are not difficult at all. Don’t you want to make one for your family or your friend?
